Mock Trial on Human Rights 2021-2022

The story of The International Mock Trial on Human Rights 2022

The Mock Trial on Human Rights 2022 is the current Flag Project of the Forum for Social Excellence.  The project was announced on 2 December 2021 in an online panel of the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme.

In light of the success of the Mock Trial on Human Rights of 2019, as well as the growing relevance of its theme, the Mock Trial of 2022 is based on the same case of Prof. Ernst Rüdin.

The Mock Trial of 2022 involves more than 50 students from a dozen countries around the world, and is conceived and run in collaboration with the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Program.

Due to COVID-19, the syllabus of lectures by internationally renowned speakers was delivered online through Zoom.

The training of the students – joining in from the Colombia, the USA (Connecticut and New-Jersey), Sweden, Romania, Turkey, Morocco, Israel, Liberia, South Africa and The Philippines – officially started on January 2022.
