About Us

The Social Excellence Forum was established in 2013 by attorney Avi Omer to provide high-quality programs for young future leaders, cultivating them in the spirit of Human Rights and Moral Values, so they, in their turn, will become agents of change in their own social circles.

At first the Forum ran biannual programs for high-school students in Israel, creating partnerships with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Justice, the Israeli Supreme Court, Tel-Aviv University, Hebrew University, Haifa University and many other entities.

Later on it expanded to create activities and partnerships with international entities and students, including working with the European Court of Human Rights, the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, The Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, the World Medical Association with its Israeli and German counterparts, and others.

Today the Forum for Social Excellence is running its Flag Project, “The International Mock Trial on Human Rights”, with some 70 students from 12 different countries.
